1.  Where do you see the women coders in the next 10 years?

I see that participation will increase gradually and the gender gap will lower down. All the good organizations are looking to fix this gender gap, they are searching for multiple solutions. Once there are female leaders in the industry it will automatically attract young developers and this will reduce the gap in the ecosystem.

2. What is the standard procedure of the competition and which software do you use? Do the contenders have to just write code or solve problems?

There is an interface within TechGig where there is an online coding editor which provides you with an interface to select the language of our choice. So, the problem is always agnostic to your language, logic, and your solution to the problem. There are 40 languages in these interfaces and any contestant can pick according to their preference.

3.  Will the competition score impact the job fair tomorrow? And who are the big names that will be hiring at the job fair?

Yes, there will be a certain score given to each contestant according to their performance. Then the companies can lay out their requirements and find the perfect match of talent.  As for the job fair, companies like CabGemini and Amax will be a part of it.

4.  What is the future of TechGig Geek Goddess?

For the past 5 years, this competition was organized only in Bangalore, though the contestants came from all over the country. Now, we are planning to make it a multicity platform across India. As we take this platform to other cities like Pune etc. there will be the addition of city-specific winners along with the global winners.
