Microsoft Ignite 2019 - Satya Nadella Vision Note + Key Announcements

Today we live in a world where every company is a software company, and technology is deeply woven throughout company workflow and individual productivity. At Ignite this week, we’re unveiling a broad range of new tools and services to help companies and individuals put their data to work for them, help employees build expertise quickly, and allow businesses to take advantage of key Azure tools no matter what cloud provider they’re using. AI is infused into updates and powerful new features in many of the tools you already use every day, and so is our firm commitment to security and privacy.

Microsoft Ignite 2019, kicked off today, with a keynote session by Satya Nadella, Chief Executive Officer, Microsoft. The keynote featured industry leading customers, showcasing how companies that are embracing ‘tech intensity’ are bringing digital capabilities and technology adoption to power innovation. In his keynote, Satya also emphasised how trust is of paramount importance to build tech capabilities and aid an organisation to become a software company.  

Here are some of the key announcements from Microsoft Ignite:

·   The new hybrid cloud capabilities of Azure Arc, is to enable innovation anywhere, while providing a seamless development, deployment and ongoing management experience. Azure Arc is a set of technologies that unlocks new hybrid scenarios for customers by bringing Azure services and management to any infrastructure.
