Rivigo Partners JK Tyre To Introduce TREEL Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) In Commercial Vehicles In India
An industry-first partnership for the tech-logistics firm to
provide a first-time tyre management solution to fleet owners in the country
Indian tech-enabled
logistics firm Rivigo announced that it has partnered with tyremaker JK Tyre
& Industries Ltd to introduce its patented Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
(TPMS) technology that transmits seamless live data at regular intervals to
monitor the condition of tyres every few seconds.
A Rivigo innovation, the TPMS
technology will capture data relating to tyre pressure and temperature through
advance algorithms and enable alerts in case of pilferage of tyres as and when
they are demounted from vehicles. The vast amount of data generated will show
the co-relation between tyre pressure and temperature and will help in
predicting tyre life.
The pattern from the data will provide insights of wear pattern on the
tyres, helping to predict cases of puncture or burst probability in real time.
The technology can also define threshold operating conditions, which will
generate real-time alerts for maintaining the right tyre pressure.
Called TREEL the TPMS technology powered by JK Tyre, is a new-age
telematics and analytical system that includes a cloud-based, web and mobile
application called TMaaS (Tyre Management as a Service) and JK Connect-smart
tyre sensors that provides complete visibility to the driver in-cabin and to
